Makes about 12 Kebabs
Ingredients
300 Steak Mince
1 Tbspn Tomato Purée
1 Oxo Cube
1 tspn Pepper
1tspn Salt
1 tspn Garlic Powder
12 Kraft Cheese Slices/ Dairylea
Preparation Method
Mix all the ingredients in with the mince.
Roll into a “finger thick” sized tube about 3ins long, place on a Cheese Slice and roll up, place on a baking sheet, push in a kebab skewer and chill for 1 hour.
Make the batter:
1 tspn Cayenne Pepper
200gm Plain Flour
250gm Cornflour
1 tbspn Baking Powder
40gms Sugar
1 tspn Salt
1 tspn Cayenne Pepper
500ml Milk
1 egg
1 tbspn Olive Oil
Mix all the dry ingredients and add the milk, mix well , add the beaten egg and the oil to form a rich batter – pour into a jam jar.
Dip the rolled cheeseburger and coat well, then deep fry in hot oil until Golden Brown
